The digital center copes with important information, and this information is of vital importance to operation of the institution. Of course, the UPS’s capacity is limited, though it is applicable to the IT infrastructure, including computer systems, servers, routers and so on. However, it cannot be applied to heavy equipment. For example, the cooling and air-conditioning need of the engine and other relevant devices is different. Obviously, if the digital center operates and there is not a long period of cooling, the hardware can be easily damaged, because the server’s operation will generate a huge heat. Therefore, an emergency engine should be installed to coexist with the UPS.

Algebraic sum of the Va can allow you to obtain the minimum rated power for the UPS. However, you should ensure that the UPS should have no lower than 20% of the rated capacity to satisfy your future expansion plan.
The battery is also an important part of the UPS system. Therefore, you should consider whether the battery is a part of the standard supply in the UPS package. If not, you have to pay extra fees and should check which type of the battery is and the battery’s rated value, number of plates, maintenance difficulty. All these factors will influence the service life of the battery.
