How to Install a Wall-mounted UPS?

Confirm the UPS model, battery type and quantity to be installed, prepare the necessary tools, power lines and battery connecting lines.
Prepare all tools required for installation.
A percussion drill, several expansion screws and basic electrical tools are required.
Install UPS on the south wall of workshop.
UPS host is installed on the wall, its battery cabinet is installed below the UPS host.
Install the battery connecting line.
After fixing the battery cabinet, confirm the positive and negative pole of battery in the battery cabinet, then install the battery.
Connect the connecting line and leave the positive and negative pole connecting line alone, the positive pole shall be connected to the air switch of the host cabinet.
Confirm there’s nothing irrelevant in the battery cabinet, cover the battery cabinet and tighten with screws.
Measure the voltage of battery with multimeter before connecting the battery connecting lines to host.
Wire connection and installation of host
Connect the connecting lines between UPS input, output and battery cabinet to host
Measure the connecting line on the host connection terminals with a multimeter, so as to check if there’s short circuited
Disconnect the switch of power input, output and battery on the host, then close the input switch and battery switch on the cabinet, so as to measure if the voltage is abnormal
Start-up of host
Connect loads
Clean up the installation site, remove all packaging cartons
Keep properly the enclosures (instructions, certificate), conduct simple training and maintenance
